Budget breakfast
BUSINESSES have been finding out how the Budget will affect them.
Stamford Chamber of Trade and Commerce held a Budget meeting, with a full English breakfast at the Crown Hotel.
Chartered accountants Duncan and Toplis gave a speech revealing how the budget will affect the business community.
About 30 business people took the opportunity of a lively question and answer session after the presentation, which was given by Ann Burns and Neil Berry of Duncan & Toplis.
Tom Hindmarch, senior partner at Duncan & Toplis in Stamford, said: "We were very pleased with the turnout and hope that we've been of help to local businesses. Budgets are complicated things and sometimes the full implications of some of the Budget measures are not immediately understood."
