STAFF at the Whipper-In in Oakham are simply the best according to a new hotel guide.
Insight Guides' Best Hotels Great Britain and Ireland showcases the top places to stay all based on feedback from former guests.
They received more than 22,000 nominations which were whittled down to a shortlist of 300 hotels.
The Market Place hote
l received nine out of 10 for ambience, location, cleanliness, facilities, restaurants and families. It scored eight out of 10 for value and an impressive 10 out of 10 for staff.
Manager Daniel Sharp said: "We are honoured to be mentioned, the staff are fantastic and are well worth their 10 marks."

A DIGITAL brochure to assist businesses looking to take on graduates has been produced.

A NURSERY in Stamford has celebrated its first birthday.
Children at the Ark Nursery, in Foundry Road, Stamford, joined in the celebrations last month with party games and a party tea. They even sang happy birthday to the nursery and had a cake and balloons.
Manager Helen Watson said: "It has been a very successful year. To celebrate it, we had a party day and activities with the children."
