A company has benefitted from an export support programme.
UK Trade and Investment, known as UKTI, helped Oakham-based company Mecc Alte to develop its export sales.
A trade advisor from UKTI advised the company on contact details of companies specifically interested in their products. Mecc Alte is a manufacturer of synchronous alternators.
Mecc Alte's export sales executive, Steve O'Hara, said: "Having UKTI on
board saved me a great deal of time that I otherwise would have spent in trying to get details of target companies involved in our market. I would definitely recommend the service to other companies looking to develop an existing export sales base."
Companies wishing to develop their export potential should contact the UKTI International Trade Team on 0845 052 4001.
