BUSINESSES are being offered the chance to attend a free employment law and health and safety seminar in Peterborough.
The seminar aims to provide all senior managers and businesses owners with an understanding of the common pitfalls and important areas of legislation including risk assessments and safety responsibilities.
It follows the rising tide of new rights f
or employees in recent years which have had significant implications for businesses. Keeping ahead of the law is not always easy especially for a local business without a human rights department to look after employment law or health and safety matters.
The seminar will run from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Thursday, July 17, at The Butterfly Ramada Hotel, Peterborough. To register your attendance call Carvel on 08458 733 133 or e-mail admin@carvel.uk.com or www.carvel.uk.com.

A BUSINESS group for women is being set up in Market Deeping. The Women in Business Network will be launching a group on Tuesday, June 24, at The Caudle House Restaurant, High Street.
It is aimed at women business owners or employees looking to increase their client base.
Once launched the group will meet monthly at lunchtimes and will attract women in and around Market Deeping. The first meeting will take place between between midday and 2pm.
