FARMERS and those with livestock in the area are being urged to vaccinate their animals to protect them from bluetongue if they have not already done so.
In a joint statement the NFU and CLA in the East Midlands said: "The vaccination campaign is going exceptionally well with more than nine million doses of vaccine made available to farmers in the protection zone."
In the East Midlands, Derbyshire is
the only county remaining outside the protection zone.
