Businesses will be consulted about plans to build a supermarket.
Members of Stamford Chamber of Trade and Commerce are invited to a consultation meeting to discuss the planning application submitted by Sainsbury's for a store in Ryhall Road. The meeting will be held at The George hotel in Stamford on Tuesday at 6.
30pm.
The chamber is also holding a breakfast networking meeting on Wednesday at New College Stamford.
This meeting is open to members and non-members. Employers will be given the opportunity to find out about funding available to support apprenticeships and staff training, as well as enjoy a delicious breakfast.

A DATABASE of trade professionals has been set up by a new association.
The website www.trustourtrades.com based in Peterborough is a new trade association, which will give simple and free access to a database of local reputable professionals.
Director Eileen Le Voi said: "All our members are recommended, vetted and approved and have agreed to comply with our service charter."
The website covers the whole PE postcode district. The first phase of the website is online now, where tradesmen can register their interest in joining the association and people can recommend worthy tradesmen.

AN acclaimed plant firm has supplied flowers to brighten up the offices of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Anthony Andrews, of Kirkby Underwood, is the UK agent for the plant breeding company Elsner pac Jungpflanzen of Dresden. He arranged supply of the geraniums, which are being displayed in front of the offices at RAF Coningsby to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
