AN eco-demonstration house to showcase sustainable construction techniques could be built in Bourne.
Larkfleet Homes wants to build the house on Southfield Business Park, in Falcon Way, where it will be used to show and educate developers and Registered Social Landlords on what products are available to help with systems, including thermal efficienc

Larkfleet is seeking South Kesteven District Council's approval.
Its planning application explains the property will show how it is possible to meet the Government's code for sustainable homes and the timber- framed property will feature green systems, including rainwater harvesting and solar panels.
The plans say: "The project will be used to help educate developers and Registered Social Landlords on what products are available and their impact in terms of design and how the property will perform in terms of thermal efficiency, reducing the carbon footprint."
It adds the two-storey house will be a standard Larkfleet-style house but will never be used as a dwelling.
