PEOPLE who work in creative industries are invited to a business day later this month.

Uppingham is one of the venues for Creative Leicestershire's events for small arts, media and design businesses this autumn.
Anyone who runs a small arts, design or media business can drop in for business advice and information on funding and trai
ning. Budding entrepreneurs can also find out more about starting a business.
Staff from Creative Leicestershire, Arts for Rutland, Business Link, Welland Enterprise and Rutland County Council will be there and will give a short introduction to what they all offer.
The events are also a chance to find out more about the Creative Leicestershire Development Bursary scheme which provides £2,000 to 15 small businesses in Leicestershire and Rutland each year to develop and improve their performance. Full information on how to apply is available at www.creativeleicestershire.org.uk
The deadline for applications this year is midday on October 10. To apply contact Fred Brookes for a 15 minute meeting for that evening by emailing fbrookes@leics.gov.uk.
Bursary winners from last year's event include VR360 and Tenfold Furnishing both from Oakham.
The event takes place at Uppingham Theatre Bar in Stockerston Road, Uppingham, on Tuesday at 6.45pm. It is free, with drinks and nibbles available, but guests should confirm their attendance by emailing aminton@leics.gov .uk
