A SENIOR carer at a Rippingale care home is the first to achieve a level four NVQ through its own training company.
Eileen Towers, who works at the Willows Residential Care Home in Station Road, was presented with her certificate in health and social care level four NVQ, by home owner Ellen Floyd.
Mrs Floyd said: "This is an assessment of Eileen's work in a management role and how she makes sure we can meet the needs of any potential clients and meet the needs of clients we have got with us.
"It reassures me as the owner that she is capable of managing the place when I am not here.
"Eileen is a very important person here and mentors some of our other senior staff. I would like to congratulate her for her achievement."
The home in Station Road has 31 residents.
