A LONG-serving supermarket worker has been given an award for providing outstanding customer service.
Grocery manager Paul Brown, 37, who has been with the Co-op store in Oakham for 16 years, was recently handed a service excellence award after receiving nominations from fellow workers and customers. Midlands
Co-op launched the award six years ago to encourage good customer service relations. Paul won £100 of gift vouchers, a certificate and a bottle of champagne.
Paul, of Oakham, said: "One of the best parts of my job is the interaction with our customers and helping them where I can, so I was really pleased to receive this award."
