DIRECTORS of a construction firm liked one of the firm's award winning developments so much that they bought part of it as a long term investment.
The project was at Woolsey House, Pump Square, Boston, which was developed into 14 flats and five shops.
Bourne-based FE Peacock Construction won the Civic Pride Award from Boston Preservation Trust for their work on the development.
The award recognised the contributions the company made to enhance the architecture and natural amenities of Boston.
Karl Hick, managing director of FE Peacock, said: "We are looking to build up a portfolio of attractive property assets through an associated company to provide long term investments.
"I suppose our decision to buy part of the development is a demonstration of our faith in the quality of our work as well as our belief in the attractions of this site in the centre of Boston," he said.
