AN EMPLOYMENT law firm based in Uppingham has been bought out.
Abel Brown solicitors has been acquired by Greenwoods solicitors of Peterborough.
Associate director Louise Brown and solicitor Vaishali Thakerar have joined the employment department of Greenwoods following the takeover.
Lousie, who specialises in sex discrimination claims, welcomed the news.
She said: "Greenwoods is a great firm to be part of. It's got strong lawyers, an enviable client base and ambitious growth plans, all of which make for an exciting future."
Robert Dillarstone, Green-woods head of employment and employee benefits, said: "It is always exciting to welcome new members to the team and the arrival of Louise and Vaishali signifies Greenwoods' continued dedication to growth and meeting out clients' needs."
