A PARTNER at an employment law firm has picked up a regional award.
Sarah King, of PJH Law in Wharf Road, Stamford, was named young business person of the year for Lincolnshire. She received her award at a ceremony at the University of Lincoln.
She was nominated by a colleague for the award, along with 90 other people across the county.
A judging panel chose the top three people, who each had to give a presentation outlining what they had done to drive the company forward in the last year.
Sarah told the judges about how she had developed the marketing strategy and customer relations partnership. She also gave testimonials she had received, including one from a premiership football club.
Sarah, 29, who lives in Peterborough, said she was very pleased to have won the award.
She said: "I was a bit surprised, but definitely very pleased.
"You never know if you're going to win until you get there and the whole team went to the awards ceremony. It was a nice evening and it is good to add to my CV.
"This award is a significant achievement for the company."
