TWO companies have joined together to open a £1.5m warehouse.
Cummins Generator Tech-nologies, based at Barnack Road, Stamford, and South Luffenham-based haulage company CS Ellis, have held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Woolfox depot near Tickencote.
Employees from both companies attended the ceremony, which celebrated the three-year contract CS Ellis has won with Cummins to run its customer logistics, offering transport, storage and contract hire drivers.
CS Ellis managing director Trevor Ellis, and Ben Miller, managing director of Cummins, each gave a brief presentation.
Mr Miller said Cummins valued the relationship it had built up with CS Ellis over the past 10 years and looks forward to a long and successful partnership on this new project, which would see the 40,000sq ft depot serving as a warehouse and sistribution centre for components and machines.
He also congratulated CS Ellis on its 75th anniversary, which was celebrated this month.
