A PRINTING firm invited prominent people from the community to celebrate its 80th birthday.
The mayor of Bourne Jane Kingman-Pauley, town councillors, headteachers from across Bourne and Rotarians were invited to the celebration with Warners Midlands.
During the event, which was held at the company's premises in Manor Lane, Bourne, the guests were given a business briefing from managing director Philip Warner, followed by a presentation on the company's environmental performance.
There was also a tour of the printing works, lunch and a question and answer session.
Mr Warner said: "We were delighted to celebrate our 80th birthday with many of the people who do so much to promote the wellbeing of the town, our employees and their families.
"Guests seemed to appreciate the opportunity to see our facility and meet our staff.
"All guests showed a great deal of interest in our latest investments and in our environmental best practice, and everyone seemed to enjoy seeing things first hand.
"This is the first open house style event Warners has held since 1989 and we were greatly encouraged by the interest and the response."
