A FABRIC shop has just opened in Stamford promising a fresh approach to a traditional service.
CallyCo, in Stamford Walk, is helping people add a creative touch to their home or wardrobe using competitively priced fabrics.
The shop is compact but neatly displays a huge variety of materials from furnishing to dress making fabrics, ribbons, cushions and threads from around the world. It will also be selling British and organic fabrics.
It has already received requests for everything from prom dress fabrics to luxury dog beds.
Managing director Cally Preen said: "CallyCo empowers creative people by supplying the raw materials and the ideas that allow them to put their own personal touches to their houses and clothing.
CallyCo not only supplies the materials, it supplies the making up services and the advice to go with it."
"I would like to thank the people of Stamford and further a field for their support in the first week of opening.
"So many great people have come in and congratulated me on the shop and I know this will all help make this venture a success."
