A BUILDING society which has reduced its carbon emissions is offering to lend energy monitors to others.
Norwich and Peterborough Building Society, which became a carbon neutral business last year, is willing to lend 100 plug-in energy monitors to help save the environment and energy bills.

Anyone can apply to borrow a monitor which will tell you how much energy a particular household appliance is using.

Chief executive Matthew Bullock said: "By offering the use of an energy monitor, we hope that people will be encouraged to take more steps to lower their energy usage, saving them money as well as helping the environment."
