MAJOR acts are lined up to perform at Elton Hall this weekend.
Top comics Lenny Henry, Jasper Carrott and Jo Brand will be delighting audiences tonight, as they perform alongside The Manfreds, The Blockheads with Phill Jupitus, The Bootleg Beatles and Elkie Brooks in variety show Rock with Laughter.
Lenny Henry promised the Mercury it would be a show not to be missed.
He said: "It is a very different show and we want people to come along with the family and have a picnic in the rain. It's going to be good, clean fun with good weather hopefully."
On Saturday, one of the most successful British girls band ever, Girls Aloud, will be starring in a rare outdoor concert at the stately home. Featuring new songs from their latest album Tangled Up as well as their previous three albums, Sarah, Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola promise to deliver a fantastic show.
