Mercury Must: Oundle International Festival

A lunchtime recital by the Atrium String Quartet is being held at Laxton School cloisters at 1.05pm as part of the Oundle International Festival.

Just a few tickets left for a performance by reed quintet Calefax, pictured above, at Fotheringhay Church at 8pm.
Manchester Cathedral organist Jeffrey Makinson is in concert at The Jesus Church, Oundle at 9pm.

Football - Local pride will be at stake when Deeping Rangers take on club-mates Deeping Sports in a pre-season friendly at Outgang Road. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Greyhound racing - Sky Sports 2 7.30-10pm: The race is on at one of the richest events in the greyhound calendar when the Gymcrack Puppy Championship takes place at Hall Green in Birmingham.
