RUTLAND Railway & Ironstone Museum at Cottesmore has a Vintage Vehicle Weekend (July 5th and 6th).
More than 50 vintage vehicles on display will include tractors, cars, motorcycles and lorries – in addition to the museum's own collection of standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, some of which will be giving rides thorughout the two days.

Visitors can find out about the iron-ore mining that once went on here through authentic rolling stock and machinery, a replica mine and photo archive.

There will also be craft and charity stalls and children's activities.

The museum, off Ashwell Road, has a cafe, picnic area and lineside nature trail. Opening hours are Saturday and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Admission for a two adult and up to three children family is £12 and this includes unlimited train rides.

Angling - Kingsland Resevoir's silver fish lake, 7.45am. Deeping Angling Club's latest match.
Cricket - Outgang Road, 1pm. Market Deeping take on March in Rutland League Division Two.
