A trip along the infamous Route 66 provided a local artist with some striking images to present to the world.
Jerome Hunt drove along the entire length of the road - from Chicago to Los Angeles - and the resulting pictures are his most recent works.
These, plus numerous paintings of France - his mother is French - and some screen prints form an exhibition which opens tomorrow (Saturday) at Oundle's Yarrow Gallery. A teacher in schools in and around Peterborough for many years, Jerome has been involved in numerous local art exhibitions.
For this one, he teams up with fellow artist David Williams.
The exhibition runs to December 4 and the gallery, in Glapthorn Road, is open from Monday to Saturday 10.30am-1pm, 2.30pm-5pm and on Sundays 2.30-5pm.
