Whatever the weather, it's always nice to get out, get some fresh air and discover the joys of a beautifully kept garden.
And there are some splendid ones to choose from in the area.

COLLYWESTON

THIRTEEN gardens are opening in Collyweston on Sunday July 6th from 12.30-4.30pm in aid of St Andrew's Church.

Tickets £3, under 16s free, from The Hermitage in the High Street.

Refreshments will be available and some gardens will have plant stalls.

The church, pictured right, will also be decorated and the village museum will be open.

BRACEBOROUGH

AN ORGANIC, wildlife-friendly garden at 10 Main Street, Braceborough is opening on Sunday July 6th from 1-5pm in aid of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

The large garden includes herbaceous beds, a pond, wildflower area, raised beds, alpines, rockeries, a pergola, greenhouses, vegetables and fruit trees. There is also a children's play area and the day will feature a plant stall and refreshments.

Admission £1.50, children free.

BASTON

A CREAM tea is included in the ticket price for an open gardens afternoon at Baston on Sunday July 6th.

Programmes will be available in St John's Church. Adults £3, children £2.
