What: House with superb art treasures and armoury. Park listed Grade I. Gardens include lawns, lakes, woods and waterways. Also tearoom, gift shop, garden centre and disabled facilities.

When: House open from August 1 to September 1, 2pm to 5pm. Grounds open every day until September 1 except Saturdays 1pm to 5pm.

How much: Grounds £1.50 adults, £1 children; House £7 adults, £6 children and concessions.
