Driver should be ashamed

I would like through your newspaper to address the gentleman who saw fit to harangue my 79-year-old mother in Morrisons car park this morning.
Apparently this (not so young himself) individual – obviously a self-appointed guardian of our driving techniques – deemed that my mother had 'cut him up' on the roundabout approach to Morrisons.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the situation, what gave him the right to verbally accost a vulnerable pensioner in her own vehicle as she parked to shop?

Who are these people that think they are the only capable drivers on the road?

My mother is not a person to be intimidated, but was understandably shaken, and as she was due to go into hospital for an operation the following day this was not ideal.

This unpleasant individual should be ashamed of himself and my thanks go to the lady who offered mum support when he had finally left.

Let's hope the driving of this self-appointed guardian of our roads continues to be as perfect as he deems it to be.
