Published Date: 10 October 2008
On the evening of September 30, I called to visit a friend who lives in Christchurch Close, Stamford.
I parked my car a short distance from her house as usual, and spent an hour and a half chatting and catching up on recent events.

On returning to my car I was dismayed to discover that some imbecile had prised off my driver's side wing mirror.

The next day my friend on her way home from work discovered the remains of what was once my wing mirror on the path which adjoins Holland Road with Kesteven Road.

The bill for replacing that wing mirror cost me £80, without the cost of any labour for fitting it. I'm sure that the perpetrator(s) would not have appreciated that bill, and neither did I.

So to the idiot(s) responsible, I hope your fingers drop off, and in future spare a thought to the cost and distress that your mindless selfish, vandalism causes the victim.
