Once again the Stamford Amateur Musical Society has put on a superb performance for the enjoyment of many.
This year it was My Fair Lady and what a wonderful production it was. Both the male and female leads were very ably cast.

Their diction was perfect – you could hear every word they uttered. We are so lucky that here in Stamford we are able to see such a high quality performance for a fraction of the cost of a London theatre.

May I say how impressive the newly refurbished Corn Exchange is, although I must confess that once inside, the walkway to your seat does resemble a ski slope some-what. However, that does not detract from the perform-ance of the show.

Congratulations to all the members of the society and a very sincere thank you to everyone involved in this production. I enjoyed it immensely as I'm sure most of the audience did.
