Through your letters page can I just say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me, my dad David, Shep and Paul on our John O-Groats to Land's End motorcycle ride.
Between us we raised about £2,000 for the XP Support Group.

We would like to say a special thank you to Darren and Bex and all the patrons of the Hit or Miss pub for supporting us in every way possible and being an amazing landlord and landlady.

They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel comfortable and part of the family plus raised lots of money for the XP support group.

Is it any wonder it won pub of the year? It certainly deserves it.

Thomas Simmonds (aged 11)
Lambeth Walk,
Stamford
