Sleaford celtic folk rock group, The Band From County Hell, will be doing their usual Christmas gigs this year with the first being at The Barge and Bottle, in the town on Saturday December 22.

The second will be at their other regular yuletide haunt, the Axe and Cleaver in Boston on Saturday December 29.

Front man Steve Mclelland said: “As a band we love this time of year, the gigs are just about bringing people together and celebrating the goodwill that Christmas brings, we select the most upbeat songs from our six original albums and always do one or two classic covers, The Fairytale Of New York being a firm favourite on the set list.”

The band have just released some new pictures, taken live at their gig earlier this year at Tokyo, Lincoln, and they are to be used next year across the national music press.

Pictures have been taken by up-and-coming progressive photographer Dominic Clarke (originally from Sleaford) also known as Boutonniere Photography.
