What: 500 acre expanse of quiet ancient woodland with mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees. There is a car park, picnic area, toilets, with disabled and pushchair access. There is also a small children's play area. A sculpture trail takes walkers past a number of sculptures crafted by both resident artists and local school children over a number of years. This trail takes visitors up to the ponds where kingfishers and herons can often be seen.

When: Open all day. Guided tours are available. Parking on site, photography allowed.
