Ex top Tory is guest speaker

POLITICIAN, writer and commentator Michael Portillo will be guest speaker at the annual dinner of the Lincolnshire branch of the English Speaking Union.

The dinner will be held at The Olde Barn Hotel, Marston on Friday November 23 and money raised from the evening will go to a scholarship fund which makes awards to young people wishing to travel and promote international understanding through use of the English language. Pupils from Bourne were among those who benefitted from this scheme this year.
