Where: Exploration Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NS. Located just off A6 two miles from Leicester City Centre. Follow brown rocket signs from all arterial routes around Leicester.

What: Science earth and planetary centre. UK's largest attraction dedicated to space with hours of breathtaking discovery and interactive fun. Large visitor attraction of the year 2007 and home of the UK's largest planetarium. 2008 welcomes Space Now a new gallery that takes you on a journey of the exploration of the universe using the latest multimedia technology. Visit the human spaceflight: Lunar Base 2025 and become an astronaut and get ready to blast off on a stunning 3D SIM journey to the ice moon Europa. Throughout the year special events ie. Movie Mania Weekend, Rise of the Robots, Astronomy Night.

When: Open all year Tuesdays to Sundays 10am to 5pm. During Leicestershire school holidays also Monday 10am to 5pm. Last admission 3.30pm.

How much: 12 adults, 10 children aged four to 16, 10 concessions; family tickets 38 or 47. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets valid for 12 months with gift aid for UK taxpayers. Parking 1 per day.
