Phillip plays Tevye a second time

RUTLAND Musical Theatre are busy rehearsing the popular musical Fiddler On The Roof which will be on stage at Uppingham Theatre from Monday April 17 to Saturday April 22.

The Easter show stars Phillip Sendall as Tevye the dairyman and Lizzie Jordan as Golde his wife.

Phillip performed the same lead role in RMT's legendary 1994 production.

Louise Cook, Jeanette Ruse Jensen and Lauren McCombie Smith play their elder daughters with Nina Truc, Vanessa White, Rachel Cawte and Jessica Whight as the younger daughters.

John Hackett is director with Jan Williams chorus mistress, Sally Montague choreographer and Martyn Ford musical director.

Performances will be at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
