Uppingham Fringe Festival listings

UPPINGHAM Fringe Festival has begun, with an exciting programme of music, comedy, drama and more, which runs until Saturday June 27.

Events are as follows, with Uppingham Theatre the venue unless otherwise stated.

Friday 12 June

THE MOZART QUESTION – A dramatisation of Michael Morpurgo's story performed by actor and violinist Andrew Bridgmont 7.30pm. For age 8+.

Sunday 14 June

FIVE STAR JAZZ – The Swing n' Sinatra show with classics you'll know and love by Glenn Miller & Benny Goodman, Jools Holland-style music 7.30pm.

Tuesday 16 June

COMEDY night with Patrick Monaghan and Alan Seaman 7.30pm.

Wednesday 17 June

MUSIC For A Summer Evening from Uppingham Choral Society, parish church 8pm.

Friday 19 June

IMPROPERA – Opera with an anarchic edge, six musicians, improvisation and audience participation should make for a sparkling evening's entertainment, 7.30pm.

Saturday 20 June

LEICESTERSHIRE CHORALE – Psalms & Praises, an evening of traditional & contemporary church music, parish church 7.30pm.

Sunday 21 June
