Woven Chords will take a musical journey around the world at Edenham Church on Saturday, March 16

The much acclaimed community choir sing unaccompanied harmony songs from across the globe. celebrating the richness and variety of the human voice.

The choir specialises in traditional songs from Eastern Europe, Africa, America and Britain, with harmonies drawn from centuries-old traditions.

Its repertoire reflects the singers’ versatility and wherever possible, songs are sung in the language of their country of origin.

The Easter concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £8 for adults including refreshments, from the church - 01778 591358; the choir - 01476 550972; Stamford Art Centre - 01780763203 or on the door. Children under 16 years will be admitted free.

The event will raise funds for St Mary’s Church in Swinstead.
