A CLUB celebrated its 10th birthday with a party.
Members of the Bourne and District U3A gathered at Bourne Corn Exchange on Monday to mark the milestone event.
The branch was formed in the town to offer a place for older people to get together and pursue a range of interests from reading and aviation to crafts and walking.
The event on Monday was attended by the founder chairman of the group, Margaret Shepherd, current chairman Ken Cater and about 150 members.
Entertainment was provided by a ukelele player.
Publicity officer Anthony Burke said: “We kept the celebrations simple but it was a very enjoyable afternoon.”
