The Lancaster and a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are scheduled to make a flypast during Kirkby Underwood’s open gardens on Sunday.
The gardens will be open from 11am until 5pm and there will be cold lunches available in the village hall between midday and 2pm.
Afternoon teas will be served from 3pm.
There will be hidden objects to find in the gardens and a raffle in the village hall.
Entrance tickets for the day are £3 adults, £1 under 16s.
Member of the organising committee Anthony Andrews said: “We are delighted to be allocated yet another a flypast by the BBMF, in what is a very busy time for these historic aircraft.”
“They always provide an additional interest as people walk around the gardens at our now annual Open Gardens event. Although Kirkby Underwood is a very small village, the gardens that will be open vary from small to large, formal to informal and create a lot of interest.
“The children who come always enjoy finding the hidden objects that follow a theme.”
Proceeds from the day will be shared between St. Mary and All saints Church and Kirkby Underwood Village Hall.
