A CHARITY which provides a home and care to both exotic and native animals which are in need will open to the public on Sunday.
The Exotic Pet Refuge, at Deeping St James, takes in all kinds of animals from zoos, organisations such as the RSPCA, owners who cannot care for their pet any more, and British wildlife which have been injured.
There are more than 400 different animals living there, and among them are monkeys, lynx, birds of prey, parrots and reptiles.
These open days are a major source of funding. Only six open days are allowed to be held in one year.
The opening times are from 10am to 5pm, and admission is £5 for adults, and £3 for children.
The refuge can be found at 102 Station Road, Deeping St James PE6 8RH
