Garden lovers have two events to look forward to this week.

Barnsdale Gardens in Exton is rounding off its summer season with sessions dedicated to watercolour painting and willow weaving.

An art workshop will take place today from 10.30am until 4pm.

Sandra Peck will give step-by-step demonstrations on painting water lilies, complete with reflections and water droplets on the lily pads.

All abilities are welcome on the course which costs £69 and includes lunch in Barnsdale Gardens Tea Rooms.

And on Sunday craftsmen will lead a session on willow weaving from 11am until 3pm. They will show visitors how to make animals and figures, which will then be available to buy.

The demonstration is free to attend with garden admission.
