Better bus service for Deeping St James

RESIDENTS will have an improved bus service from Deeping St James to Peterborough.

Shaws Coaches has introduced two additional services to complement the services by Delaine Buses which travel to Peterborough.

The 100 bus will now go on a loop on weekdays through most of the village, with a connection in the morning and evening with the Delaine service.

The new service comes after Stagecoach stopped serving the village last summer, much to the displeasure of local residents.

A taxi service was trialled but had to be scrapped due to lack of use.
