MUSICIANS are already sending in demos as they bid to win a place in the line-up for the biggest free music festival around.
The Mercury has teamed up with organisers of the Riverside Festival in Stamford to run a battle of the bands which will guarantee the winner a slot on-stage at the event.
We're putting a track from each artist or band or a web link on our website at www.stamfordmercury.co.uk so people can listen to them.
Once they have all come in you the reader will be able to vote online, using a coupon in the paper or vote by text message.
Send your demos to Mercury House, Sheep Market, Stamford PE9 2QZ, e-mail your web links where readers can hear tracks, to smeditor@stamfordmercury.co.uk, or call in at one of our offices. The deadline for tracks to arrive is April 25.
