Car hits lorry on A1

A CAR collided with a stationary lorry this morning on the A1 northbound near Tickencote.
The crash, which happened at about 7.30am near the Bloody Oaks Service Station, involved a red Fiat Punto and an articulated lorry.

Leicestershire Police said the driver of the Punto had minor injuries, but no-one was taken to hospital.

The road was cleared by 9.15am.
