YOUNGSTERS at a nursery had a great time when they learned about sign language.
Children at the Bluebird Nursery, which is on the same site as Bourne Westfield Primary School in Westbourne Park, Bourne, had a visit from expert Garry Slack.
Garry ,of Sargent’s Court, Stamford, is the author of Learn to Sign with Olli, a book which aims to teach children how to use sign language with the help of the friendly monkey Olli.
He spent the session with the children singing, telling stories, and teaching them basic sign language.
Nursery leader and owner Kathleen Megson said it was a very successful event.
She said: “It was a fantastic session. The library usually come and they recommended him to us. He had the children in stitches and they got a lot of information. The children really enjoyed it.”
