ABOUT 200 youngsters have been making the most of a two-week playscheme at Linchfield Primary School, providing activities spanning football to craftwork.
The playscheme, backed by Deeping St James Parish Council and South Kesteven District Council, finished last week and saw children aged five to 11 show up and enjoy themselves by taking part in a range of activities.

Among the facilities provided, participants were able to learn dancing, mask making and clay work. In addition they were able to play cricket, badminton and football.

Playleader Sue Bell said the whole playscheme had been a success.

She said: "It's been amazing. They way it's all been organised has meant children have never been bored and had so much to do."

Madcaps summer playschemes started at Linchfield Primary School on
Monday, August 11. Before then there was a two-week playscheme organised by the same group at Market Deeping Primary School.
