PENSIONERS living in sheltered accommodation are being asked for their views to improve the service.
The Supporting People Partnership, a Government initiative to provide housing-related support services to vulnerable groups but administered by Lincolnshire County Council, is consulting residents to find out more about their needs.
This strategic review will also be looking at the efficiency and effectiveness of currrent services along with identifying gaps in the provision.
Assistant director for healthier communities Tony McGinty said that the stategic review is being driven by the Government to improve independence for residents.
He said: "The needs of our elderly population are changing and this review will identify how those needs can be met.
"We want to engage with as many people as possible who are using Supporting People services to find out their views and take their opinions on board before we make decisions.
"This is about ensuring service users maintain independence in their own homes."
