A NEW era is starting for The Blue Bell in Belmesthorpe which has undergone a facelift thanks to new owners Glen Hill and Julie Chance along with managers Kenny and Lannie Roxburgh.
The Blue Bell has been closed for six months while new owners Glen, 52, and Julie, 36, who run The Hurdler in New Cross Road, Stamford, and managers Kenny and Lannie worked their magic.

The group have been busy revamping the 17th century pub by fitting new carpets along with bringing in new furniture.

Regulars were able to enjoy a pint at the pub from this week and there are also plans to serve food from Monday.

Kenny, 38, and Lannie, 42, are no strangers to the village after running the pub under the previous owners and are delighted to be back.

Kenny said: "Our plans are to keep it going, to keep the happy atmosphere and the locals happy and to serve good food.

"This is an old country pub and a chance of a lifetime."
