Princess Royal visits Rutland Sailing Club

A DISABLED sailing group got the Royal seal of approval today.
Princess Anne, the patron of Royal Yachting Association Sailiability, met more than 100 disabled sailors and volunteers at Rutland Sailability at Rutland Water.

She touched down at 2pm at St George's Barracks, North Luffenham, in a helicopter before driving to the sailing club Rutland Water, where she was introduced to chairman of the group Tricia McNair.

The Princess Royal spent more than an hour chatting to members, before unveiling a plaque to commemorate the visit.
