SIZZLING temperatures helped create a holiday mood at a continental market over the weekend.
European foods and crafts were on sale in Uppingham Market Place on Saturday and Sunday. And the summery weather brought shoppers out in force.
Rutland town centre manager Michael Horwood said: "We are delighted how lucky we were with the weather.
"Many local people turned out and they also came from the surrounding villages to enjoy the continental atmosphere. "
