BUSINESSES in the area are being asked to step up and support a new music festival.
A Lost Weekend is taking place at Sykes Lane, Empingham, on July 21 and 22 and the organisers are looking for food producers and craft businesses to sell their goods.
The event has been organised by Richard Garton, 59, of Main Street, Glaston, and bands that have already confirmed include 90s Brit-pop band Dodgy and the late Ian Dury’s backing band The Blockheads.
The deadline for food producers to submit an application is Tuesday and for other businesses is later in the year.
Tickets to the event are now on sale at £75 for both days. To book or apply for a pitch visit www.alostweekend.co.uk/festival
