DANCE and sports workshops were among the activities at an event aimed at keeping young people safe.
More than 300 people enjoyed Involved? which was held in Cutts Close in Oakham on Saturday and organised by Rutland County Council, Oakham Town Council, youth services, the police, fire and rescue and Rutland NHS.
As well as activities, there was also information stands on health and well-being, as well as career and education options.
Chairman of the Safer Rutland Partnership Barrie Roper said: “This was a really successful event with many young people not only enjoying the activities but also keen to look at the information stands and learn about the various facilities that are on offer for young people.
“I hope young people came away with a better idea of how they can stay safe and out of trouble.”
