RESIDENTS at a care home got creative to make a number of African masks which they have given to pupils at Malcolm Sargent Primary School.

Youngsters in the Stamford school’s drama club were delighted to be given some colourful designs which were made by members of Priory Court Care Home in Priory Road, Stamford.

Activities organiser at the home Margaret Allen said: “Residents made the masks as part of a little project we were doing and we decided to give them to the school as a thank you for inviting us to their productions. We really enjoyed making them and the children were very grateful.”

Business manager at the school Liz Town said: “The masks and hats were lovely and we’ll be using them for future productions.”
